Today’s Weekend Word Challenge, hosted by The Odd Mix asks us to show some beauty and it’s beholder. (I personally think he should have asked for the beast, but that’s just me)
For Beauty I really wanted to capture a magical moment of my day. I laid across my bed this afternoon, reading my book, listening to the girls laugh with one another and cuddled up next to one of the cats. All of a sudden, it started to rain. I looked outside and just basked in the beauty of the drops coming down and the green of the cedars in our back yard. I didn’t capture this beautiful moment, but I will keep it inside of me.
In lieu of that beauty, I present you with a different beauty. At Day Camp there was a bird nest that we all kept good track of during the week. Those baby birds and thier parents were one of the true beauties of the world.
The Beholder, would be me and my trusty camera. (I’m thinking of calling him Oscar, but haven’t quite decided yet…)Not using a tripod results in a pretty blurry photo. So with a little software magic, it’s supposed to look that way!
