The ever so fabulous Jayman has interviewed me (Yes, ME!) with his five most pressing questions. Here is a transcript of our conversation:
Jayman: What ONE book and ONE CD would you want if you were stranded on a deserted island?
Me: Hmmm…only ONE book? Are you crazy? Um….I guess I should pick something long and tedious that I haven’t quite convinced myself to read yet. Something like War and Peace, that should last me a while.
Jayman: Well that would certainly kee..
Me: Wait! What am I thinking? I’d bring the best survival book I can find with me. And maybe I’ll rubber band a copy of The Swiss Family Robinson to it.
Jayman: Some might consider that cheating you know. But what the heck. How about the CD?
Me: CD? Gee, I’m so not into music…can I just bring an extra book or two?
Jayman: Sigh… Ok, so say you could have any super power you wanted. What would you choose?
Me: I get another Super Power? How cool is that! Let me think for a sec…how about flying?
Jayman: What do you mean another power?
Me: Well, I already have the eye in the back of my head thing going on. I also have the ability to morph into a Zillion Armed Creature to take on all the juggling that needs doing. The uncanny ability to detect evasive actions and untruths, I can read minds. I have the patience of a saint, and the ability to reprimand an errant being in a single withering glance. Ummm…there’s tons more, but I hate to brag.
Jayman: I had no idea… OK then, so with all of your talents, tell me how you would make the perfect sandwich.
Me: And who would this be for? Everyday when Shaun comes home and tells me about the exotic lunch he had that day, I tell him about my famous PB&J that I had. Does that count?
Jayman: Sure, why not? Any character flaws you’d like to talk about?
Me: Character flaws? No…I can’t think of any…
Jayman: Of course you can’t! So… Paper or plastic?
Me: Usually plastic. You can use them for so many things. But the pesky things do seem to over multiply in the middle of the night. Paper is great for a craft project. Why? Were you going to make a grocery store run for me?
Jayman: Ohhh, listen to the closing music, it seems as though our time is up. Thanks for the interview.
Me: Well, gee Jayman, thanks for asking! Shall we do this again sometime?
Me: Jayman?
Me: Jay?? Where did he go?

Wanna play? Leave a comment saying, “Interview me.” I’ll respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better. If I already know you well, expect the questions to be a little more intimate! Then you will update your journal/blog with the answers to the questions. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
I’ll post your questions, if you want any, in a few days. Of course, you are under no obligation. Especially if you have already been interviewed.
Very creative and interesting. 🙂 your questions are always welcome.
This is my first visit and I already like your blog.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
You’re kind of a hassel to interview. LOL 😉
Pink Ginger~ Thanks! I had to come visit you because I seem to keep seeing you. I’m like a curious cat
Jayman! There you are! Hassel? What do you mean? LOL
I was going to ask to be interviewed, but I just recieved your questions on my blog. So, um… thanks.
Cool! I didn’t know I knew a superhero! Blog World Rocks!!! You get to meet all kinds of cool people!!!
Oh, and for the CD delima…just copy a bunch of audio books onto a CD…then you have company, too! =-)
OH….I’m up for it!!
Cool answers. Love the superpowers. I could use some of those some times, especially that patience one.
Loved the interview!
Very good interview – good hardhitting questions from Jay. Did you have a set of topics for him that were strictly off limits? I had this image that he was going to bring up the falling off the roof episode only to have Shaun step in to say to Jay that the interview was terminated.
What the heck…I’m up for an interview :o) I dont’ know if I have as many super powers as you have though. I’m jealous.
Thanks so much for the compliment on my “Home is Where the Salt Is” post. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about my Mimi, and what she has passed along to me and my daughters. She’s still living, but has had a lot stolen by Alzheimer’s Disease. I miss talking with her. I love that your little Mimi had to have just the right cake mix for her friend. I always enjoy reading you!

ANOTHER super power? Gee, aren’t you lucky? 😉
If I could have a super power it would be… the ability to move super fast so I could get all that house work/chores/other tedious stuff done and then go have some fun.
Interview me!! This sounds like fun!
Got here from your post to Chris Sligh’s blog!
oh my gosh…that is so hilarious…
i would love to be interviewed.
happy thursday!
Here’s the book I’d want if stranded on a desert island: How to Build a Boat with your Bare Hands.
Now, if I was stranded on a dessert island, I think I’d be too busy eating to read.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on our blog! Your interview here made for some entertaining reading. 🙂
I’ll post questions in a day or twoy…I’ll need a couple of days to think about this!
Too cute….love the format. Can I play? Ooops…forgot to follow the directions….
