I just realized that it noon and I haven’t blogged anything. Not that I have to blog with any regularity or anything like that. It’s just that if I’ve committed to Fun Monday, so I really should do that.
ANYWAYS, today’s hostess, Sayre wants to see our art work. Actually she wants to see what every member in the family chooses as their favorite piece…and photos don’t count. Since nobody is here right now, I’m going to decide their favorites for them! (Isn’t that nice of me?)
Looking around in KT’s room, I see sea life and Disney Princesses. I’m sure this wouldn’t be considered her very favorite, but I think it sums up her.
Mimi likes to create her own artwork. So, I’m going to guess that her favorites are (or maybe they are my favorites) this hand painted sun
and her abstract flower
Shaun’s office has all sorts of wonderful delights to choose from. I choose this brass unicorn that he’s had since before I met him.
And this…um…thing. (I think it may be a turkey?)
As for me…well, I don’t think I’m allowed to choose for myself!!!
fun choices! and after you let KT or mimi or Shaun choose yours, be sure to post it! 🙂
Love all the choices….and especially the brass unicorn
The little sun and the flower painting are very creative! I would save them too!
I think the art is beautiful. The horse might be worth saving, but I don’t think I would go back for the turkey, cute as it is. Good fun Monday.
Oh, well of course, the pinecone turkey is the most interesting and fascinating piece in your house! Ahem…yeah…actually, I love the paintings! And the unicorn is kinda cool, too. But nothing beats the turkey (you know pinecones are HIGHLY flammable, right???) Save the turkey!
the turkey made me giggle.
I wish I’d saved every project the kids did when they were little.
Your post/pictures made me smile 🙂 and wonder what you’re leaving out! Definitely a fun post for Fun Monday.
The things my children have made through the years are all treasures, but they’re scattered all over the house and some are in boxes. I guess the best thing in the event of fire is to make sure they get out first, THEN come back in and scrounge around…
The hand-painted sun looks so cheery. I especially like the cheery message, “Follow Your Dreams.”
I like your choices, wonder if you family did. Come on, what’s your choice? 🙂
Wow. You have lots of artwork all over the place. We have, uh … pictures. On the walls. But we avoid anything breakable. It might have to do with the presence of a pre-schooler.
What a delightful, eccletic mis of art you have.
Mimi’s a true ar-tist!
Thank you for sharing!
my daughter would love your princesses!
