It’s the day after Christmas…a perfect day with no obligations and the chance to sleep in, play with our new toys and just be lazy. Well…some people got to sleep in. I happen to have a husband that wakes up and thinks all the world should wake up with him. Usually this is not a problem as he has a tendency to sleep in later than anyone else.
This morning he woke up a bit before anyone else. And he wanted to talk. Loudly. About anything. And nothing. When I grunted in an exasperated attempt to make him go away, he took that as an invitation to talk more. I finally cracked one eye open when he invited me to have breakfast at the Cafe. My eye snapped back shut when I saw that it was still dark outside. I suggested he take Sam outside and rolled over. Of course Shaun simply couldn’t stay away very long.
Hmmm…I started writing early this morning…it’s now inching towards midnight. I have no idea where I was going with this (forgetfulness is a huge side-effect of sleep deprivation) Somebody (LOTS of somebodys!)…please finish the story for me! I need to go to bed.
Best story wins a virtual Sammy kiss!
I’d just chalk it up to a dream. 😉
If only I could!
… and then you realised that Shaun wasn’t actually awake he was simply talking in his sleep. Oh wait, that wasn’t your Shaun it was my Sean and it was last night and he talked all throughout the night. At one stage he was telling invisible unknown people that they couldn’t do it they weren’t awesome like him!
Fingers crossed that all Shaun/Sean’s sleep all night long tonight, and sleep in too.
The curse (blessing?) of the Shaun/Seans!
