I probably shouldn’t admit this, but it took me nearly all day to realize that it really, truly is now March. First, I was positive for some strange reason (maybe there was a movie out???) that this was a leap year and it was still February. I had finally come to grips with the fact that this is just a regular old year and we were on to the next month when I saw a book about April Fool’s Day.
In a panic, I started working hard on coming up with perfect April Fool’s joke to play on someone. (I’ve yet to successfully play a joke on anyone, but that doesn’t keep me from trying to come up with the perfect one every year)
So…I’ve lost a day by not having leap year, but gained an entire month. I’ve got a feeling March is going to be a good one.
(I’m counting finding my missing camera in the washing machine this morning back with the Dreadful February since that’s the month it was washed in!)

Technically, it wasn’t me! I had left my mud-encrusted work jeans on the floor of the laundry room intending on putting them back on the next day…my sweet girl washed them…and the camera that was in my pocket for me. Sigh…
OUCH!!! Your camera .. I’ve washed both of my kids’ cellphones … (but I call that their fault .. they need to empty the pockets ..) .. but the camera!! Putting it in a ziplock bag with uncooked rice, it helps take the moisture out …
I love that it is March .. SPRING!! It’s going to be a good month!

Spring is coming — just 19 days away! I’m wondering if we’re going to have any more snow.

I *should* be able to come up with something awesome now that I seem to have a whole month to think about it! lol
