Yesterday I was wondering what to write about. I set about really paying attention to my day in order to have something interesting to say. I came up with a couple good ideas…enough to last me a day or two if I needed them.
I was headed home after a long day and found this.

A neighbor’s classic car had rolled down the hill straight into my house! Now that’s something you don’t come across every day. Right now I’m tuckered out so I’ll write in more detail tomorrow.
It will be quite some time before I wish I’d had a more interesting day!

Thank you for reading A Slice of My Life. I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it. If you liked this post, why not consider “liking” my Facebook Page, subscribing by mail (at the upper right) or signing up in a reader. I’d be thrilled and you would never miss a post. Oh…and I love comments!
So fun! And so true…thanks for sharing.
Oh my…that sure does make one be careful what we wish for!
Oh dear! Interesting yes – but not what you were thinking I am sure! Hope all can be fixed easily.
You never really know where writing inspiration will come from! I’m wondering if I must amble upon a similar mishap to find mine???
Uh oh! Hopefully the repairs will be easy and minimal. I guess inspiration sometimes finds us in the least expected ways!
I agree that it is always interesting to find where writing ideas come from. It’s also interesting that now that we are about a week into the challenge, some of us may be starting to be worried that the idea bin may dry up – I know I am! Hope all turns out well.
Oh my….quite a surprise. I could have used that picture for a story I wrote about my mother learning to drive…but she drove through our friend’s garage door…not the main house. The car looks like the one she had though. Well, hope things are not quite as “interesting” for the next few days.
Oh no! I’ve had those “careful what you wish for” moments as well; but none quite as impressive as this one!
That’s not the sort of news you really wanted to write about. However I’ll be interested to see the outcome of this little accident, which may turn out to be not so little.
