Somewhere, I read something about making small goals in the amont of years you were before your next birthday. (Goodness, what an awkward sentence!) I like that idea a lot more than than making silly New Year’s Resolutions. In fact, I like it so much that, in honor of my 45th birthday (How on earth did I get that old????) which is coming up way too soon, I am posting my List of 45 things. (Technically, I’m a bit short, that’s a lot of things to come up with. Do you have any brilliant ideas on what else I should include?). My goal is to have everything crossed off by February 14th, 2010. (and yes, I would love help completing them, thanks for asking!)

My number 1 is to continue visiting and listening to my parents while they are still alive. They have so much to say.
You’ve got a great list going. I’d add purging closets or something like that if you have stuff to get rid of. 45 things is a lofty goal!
Re No. 32 – we have been to the Issaquah Village Theater several times and have been favorably impressed by the quality of the sets and actors. Unfortunately, they show mostly musicals, which are not to our liking, but every once in a while they do something we do like. For instance, we have seen Steel Magnolias and How to Kill a Mockingbird. Also took the granddaughter to see Beauty and the Beast, which she was just fascinated with. Even though she is only 3, she sat through the whole show just mesmorized.

I really like this idea! I am facing a big birthday next year, so I think I will make my own list and start working on it.
I donate blood every 2 months as I can… Maybe that’ll count as your donate blood!! 😉 Good luck! And keep on truckin’!!
Huh…I never thought about getting other people to do my things for me! 🙂
It looks like it is time to update this list, after all it is half way throught 2011
I just looked at this again, and you still need to update it! Are you waiting for that big “Next Birthday”
love your perspective on life. I wish everyone had a positive outlook on life!
I’m a regular blood donater myself and I’m glad to see that on your list. The only advice i can give you is that make sure you drink plenty of water half an hour before your appointment. I know i would down close to a litre beforehand!!! makes the procedure ALOT quicker. half the time in fact.
